CP Plus cameras: gCMOB on phone, KVMS Pro on PC
CP Plus is the brand behind most of the “cctv app for pc” searches in India, and it has two answers. The mobile app is gCMOB, published on Google Play by Aditya Infotech, and it has no native Windows version, so on a PC it only runs inside an emulator. Hikvision cameras: iVMS-4200 on PC, Hik-Connect on the web
Hikvision’s old mobile viewer iVMS-4500 was discontinued in February 2022, so ignore any site still offering it. The current lineup is Hik-Connect for phones and iVMS-4200 as the official free Windows desktop client, downloadable from the Hikvision download center. iVMS-4200 is the strongest desktop client on this page: centralized device management, large camera layouts, recording and event handling. There is no official Hik-Connect app for Windows. If you want the Hik-Connect experience on a PC you have two honest options: the Hik-Connect web portal in a browser, or the Android app in an emulator. Both are covered in our Hik-Connect for PC guide.
EZVIZ cameras: EZVIZ Studio is the official desktop app
EZVIZ, the consumer brand spun off from Hikvision, is one of the few Wi-Fi camera makers with a proper desktop program. EZVIZ Studio is the official Windows client from ezviz.com: sign in with the same account as your phone app and your cameras appear automatically, with live view, playback and device settings. Godrej Seethru, Prama and Tiandy: the India brands
Prama has the cleanest PC story of the three. The Prama VMS Standard Client software for Windows is published on the official downloads section at pramaindia.in and connects Prama DVRs, NVRs and IP cameras for live view and playback on a laptop or desktop.
Tiandy also ships a real desktop client: Easy7 Smart Client Express for Windows, available from the download section on en.tiandy.com. It manages and previews the full range of Tiandy NVRs and IP cameras.
Godrej Seethru is murkier. The official apps are Godrej Seethru CCTV and Seethru Pro+ on Google Play, but Godrej does not publish a clearly official standalone desktop download page for them. The honest routes on a PC are the Play app inside an emulator, or pulling the camera feed over RTSP if your Godrej recorder supports it. Treat any third-party site offering a “Seethru PC version” installer with suspicion.
No-name Wi-Fi cameras: the CamHi and HiP2P family
Thousands of unbranded P2P cameras sold on Amazon and Flipkart run on Hichip firmware and pair with the CamHi or CamHiPro app. The vendor itself publishes no software downloads, so the de facto Windows program is HiP2P Client, distributed through camera sellers’ support pages rather than one official site. The universal fallback: RTSP and ONVIF on any PC
When you cannot identify the brand at all, use standards instead of apps. Most wired IP cameras and many Wi-Fi models expose an RTSP stream, and ONVIF-compliant cameras can be discovered by any compliant viewer. Two genuinely free tools cover this:
VLC media player (videolan.org) is completely free and opens any RTSP URL via Media, then Open Network Stream. It is the fastest way to view an IP camera on PC with zero vendor software, though it shows one stream per window and records only manually.

Running a mobile CCTV app on PC with an emulator
The emulator route makes sense in exactly one case: the only software for your camera is an Android app, or you need an app-only feature such as QR-code device pairing or push-style alert history. Install BlueStacks, sign in to Google Play, install the same app you use on your phone (gCMOB, Hik-Connect, CamHi, Godrej Seethru CCTV), and log in with your existing account so your cameras carry over.
