iSmartViewPro for PC: 2026 Status and What to Use Instead

Honest answer first: iSmartViewPro looks abandoned in 2026. The Android app has been removed from Google Play, and Sricam’s official download center now only offers the newer SriHome app for its cameras. There is no official iSmartViewPro Windows download anymore, so a PC setup today means the SriHome app in an emulator or an RTSP stream in VLC.

What happened to iSmartViewPro

iSmartViewPro was the companion app for Sricam IP cameras, and for years it also had a desktop build that shipped on the Sricam site. Both are gone from official channels. The Play Store listing returns a not found error, and the download center at sricam.com currently lists product manuals plus the SriHome app for iOS and Android, nothing else. The iSmartViewPro installers still floating around are on third party mirror sites, which we do not link and do not recommend: you cannot verify what is inside an orphaned installer.

The official route in 2026: SriHome

Sricam’s active app is SriHome, and the official place to get it is the vendor’s own download center. If your camera is a Sricam model, try adding it to SriHome first; the newer app covers the current hardware range. Run the app on Windows with an emulator

1. Install BlueStacks using our BlueStacks for PC guide.
2. Install SriHome from the Play Store inside the emulator and sign in or register.
3. Add the camera with its device ID rather than the QR scanner, which behaves badly through a virtual webcam.
4. If your older camera is not accepted by SriHome and only ever worked with iSmartViewPro, an existing phone install is worth keeping alive while you plan a replacement.

One security note while you are in transition: a camera whose app was abandoned is also a camera whose firmware stopped getting patches years ago. Keep it off port forwarding, give it a strong local password if the settings allow one, and put it on a guest network if your router supports that. None of this fixes an unmaintained device, but it limits the blast radius while it is still in service.

The VLC fallback for older Sricam cameras

Some iSmartViewPro era models expose an RTSP stream, and community camera databases such as iSpyConnect document working URL patterns for several Sricam models. If yours is among them, VLC or any NVR software on Windows can pull the stream directly, no emulator and no vendor app involved. Be aware that plenty of the cheapest units were P2P only, so test before you build a setup around it: open VLC, choose Open Network Stream, and try the RTSP address listed for your exact model on port 554.
