There is no official Paytm app for Windows or Mac, and you do not need one. On a PC, open paytm.com in your browser and log in with your mobile number: recharges, bill payments, and bookings all work there. UPI money transfers still need the Paytm app on your phone, because UPI is tied to your SIM.

The official way to use Paytm on PC: paytm.com

Paytm’s real PC version is its website. It is the same account as your app, and for the tasks people actually search “Paytm for PC” for, it covers almost everything.

Why there is no Paytm desktop app

People search for a Paytm desktop app or a Paytm download for PC, but One97 has never shipped a Windows or Mac program, and the reason is UPI itself. UPI links your bank account to the SIM card in your phone: activation verifies your number by SMS from the handset, and payments authorize on that same device. A desktop cannot hold your SIM, so a desktop UPI app would not be able to do the one thing Paytm is best known for. The browser plus phone combination is the design, not a workaround.

Can you run the Paytm app in an emulator?

Technically you can install the Paytm Android app inside BlueStacks from its official Play listing, but we do not recommend it for this app, and it is worth being straight about why. UPI setup inside an emulator fails at device verification, since the emulator has no SIM to send the activation SMS from. What remains working, recharges and bill payments, is exactly what paytm.com already does in a normal browser tab with less setup. For Paytm, the emulator route is effort spent to reach a worse version of the website.

Paytm for Business on PC

If you are a merchant, Paytm does have a proper desktop-friendly tool: the Paytm for Business dashboard at business.paytm.com. Log in with your business account to track payments, settlements, and reports from a computer, which is far more comfortable than the phone app for accounting work. This is separate from the consumer Paytm account, and it is entirely browser based too.

Honest answer first: iSmartViewPro looks abandoned in 2026. The Android app has been removed from Google Play, and Sricam’s official download center now only offers the newer SriHome app for its cameras. There is no official iSmartViewPro Windows download anymore, so a PC setup today means the SriHome app in an emulator or an RTSP stream in VLC.

What happened to iSmartViewPro

iSmartViewPro was the companion app for Sricam IP cameras, and for years it also had a desktop build that shipped on the Sricam site. Both are gone from official channels. The Play Store listing returns a not found error, and the download center at sricam.com currently lists product manuals plus the SriHome app for iOS and Android, nothing else. The iSmartViewPro installers still floating around are on third party mirror sites, which we do not link and do not recommend: you cannot verify what is inside an orphaned installer.

The official route in 2026: SriHome

Sricam’s active app is SriHome, and the official place to get it is the vendor’s own download center. If your camera is a Sricam model, try adding it to SriHome first; the newer app covers the current hardware range. Note that no Windows client is listed there either at the time of writing, so the desktop story for Sricam owners is the emulator route below.

Install SriHome from the Play Store inside the emulator and sign in or register.
Add the camera with its device ID rather than the QR scanner, which behaves badly through a virtual webcam.
If your older camera is not accepted by SriHome and only ever worked with iSmartViewPro, an existing phone install is worth keeping alive while you plan a replacement.

One security note while you are in transition: a camera whose app was abandoned is also a camera whose firmware stopped getting patches years ago. Keep it off port forwarding, give it a strong local password if the settings allow one, and put it on a guest network if your router supports that. None of this fixes an unmaintained device, but it limits the blast radius while it is still in service.

The VLC fallback for older Sricam cameras

Some iSmartViewPro era models expose an RTSP stream, and community camera databases such as iSpyConnect document working URL patterns for several Sricam models. If yours is among them, VLC or any NVR software on Windows can pull the stream directly, no emulator and no vendor app involved. Be aware that plenty of the cheapest units were P2P only, so test before you build a setup around it: open VLC, choose Open Network Stream, and try the RTSP address listed for your exact model on port 554.
