MI Home App for PC Free Download (Windows 10/8/7 & Mac)

mi home download for pc

MI Home for PC: MI is an app designed by Xiaomi that controls all software and hardware made by the same company. It’s similar to Alexa or Siri; however, its services are only to a certain extent. In order to use MI, you need to have a stable and strong Wi-Fi connection to prevent any problems from occurring while using the app.

It’s available for Androids and iPhones and can manage things like your heater, ceiling lights, etc. MI for PC doesn’t require any wires or cables to perform the actions needed, which is why this app is sought after. All you need to do is add your smart device through the app and access all appliances from the comfort of one place.

Danale App for PC: 2026 Status, Setup and Honest Alternatives

danale for pc download

Straight answer: there is no official Danale app for Windows or Mac, and Danale itself is in rough shape in 2026. The official danale.com website no longer loads and the Danale Cam Android app was last updated in June 2024. On a PC your realistic options are running the app in an emulator, RTSP in VLC, or your camera brand’s own app.

App Danale Cam (Android)
Developer Danale Inc.
Category IP camera viewer (P2P cloud platform)
Google Play status 1 million+ installs, last updated 8 June 2024
Official Windows or Mac app None
Last verified July 2026

Danale in 2026: what is actually going on

Danale is a Shenzhen based P2P and cloud video platform whose technology shipped inside a lot of budget Wi-Fi cameras. Brands like Victure and Jooan sold cameras that ran on Danale’s cloud, either through the Danale app itself or a rebranded version of it. That is why so many people who never bought anything called “Danale” end up searching for this app.

Here is the honest status as of July 2026. The company’s main website, danale.com, does not load anymore. The Danale Cam app is still listed on Google Play, but it has not received an update since June 2024, and recent reviews are heavy on login failures and cameras showing offline. We found no official shutdown announcement, but a dead website plus a two year old app is not a platform to depend on for home security. Plan your setup assuming Danale’s cloud can degrade further.

Is there a Danale app for PC?

Not an official one. Danale never published a Windows or Mac client on its own channels; the only official downloads have been the mobile apps. You will find “Danale PC” or “Danale CMS” installers hosted on various camera seller sites and download portals. Those builds are old, unsupported, and you cannot verify who packaged them, which is a bad combination for software that watches the inside of your home. We do not link them. The only official download that still exists is the Android app on Google Play.

Get Danale Cam (Google Play)

Install Danale on Windows with an emulator

If your camera still connects through Danale’s cloud, you can run the official Android app on a Windows 10 or 11 laptop or desktop through an emulator.

  1. Install BlueStacks and sign in to the Play Store.
  2. Search for “Danale Cam” and check the developer name reads Danale Inc. before installing.
  3. Log in with the account you created on your phone. Your added cameras should appear; adding a new camera is easier on the phone first, since setup uses the phone’s Wi-Fi and QR steps.
  4. Open a camera for live view. If streams load on your phone but not in the emulator, the app itself is fine and the problem is the emulator’s network mode, so switch it between shared and bridged mode and retry.

One caveat: if login fails or the app reports errors like “device id does not exist”, that is almost always Danale’s cloud side, not your PC. No emulator setting fixes a server problem.

Better routes: RTSP in VLC or your camera brand’s own app

Given Danale’s condition, treat these as the real long term answers.

Check your camera brand’s own app first. Many cameras that shipped with Danale inside also have a brand app (Victure Home is one example), and some brands migrated users off Danale’s cloud entirely. Search your camera’s exact model number plus “app” and check the manufacturer’s support page. Our CCTV camera app for PC guide maps the major brands to their correct desktop software.

Try RTSP in VLC. If your camera exposes an RTSP stream, you can watch it on any PC with no cloud at all: find the camera’s IP address in your router’s client list, look up the RTSP path for your model in its manual, then open a network stream in VLC in the form rtsp://user:password@camera-ip:554/path. The catch is that many Danale platform budget cameras are cloud only and expose no RTSP, in which case this route is closed.

If neither works, replace rather than patch. A camera tied to an unmaintained cloud is a dead end. Budget Wi-Fi cameras on the V380 platform have the same PC question with a livelier ecosystem, which we cover in our V380S for PC guide, and current mainstream brands all offer proper desktop or web clients.

Frequently asked questions

Is Danale shut down?

There is no official shutdown announcement that we could find. But as of July 2026 the danale.com website does not load, and the Android app has not been updated since June 2024. Functionally, treat the platform as unmaintained and do not build a new setup around it.

Can I download Danale for Windows 10 or Windows 7 free?

There is no official Danale download for any version of Windows. On Windows 10 or 11 the workable route is the Android app in an emulator. On an older Windows 7 machine emulators run poorly, so RTSP in VLC is the better attempt if your camera supports it.

Why does Danale say my device ID does not exist or my camera is offline?

If the camera has power and internet, these errors usually come from Danale’s cloud rejecting or losing the device registration. Try removing and re-adding the camera from the phone app once. If it keeps happening, the cloud side is failing and your fix is the brand’s own app, RTSP, or a replacement camera.

What can I use instead of Danale?

In order: your camera brand’s own current app, RTSP into VLC or another desktop viewer if the camera exposes it, and if neither exists, a modern camera whose maker publishes real desktop software. Our utility apps for PC hub lists the viewers we have tested.

Verdict

Danale still limps along, and the emulator route above works for cameras that still connect. But be honest with yourself about what you are maintaining: a viewer for a cloud platform whose own website is gone. Get your footage local with RTSP if your camera allows it, move to the camera brand’s own app if one exists, and if you are buying anything new, buy a camera that does not need Danale at all.

IP Pro for PC: Official EseeCloud Client for Windows and Mac

download ip pro for pc

IP Pro, also branded EseeCloud and VR Cam, is one of the few budget camera apps with a real desktop client. The vendor distributes EseeCloud for Windows 7 through Windows 11, plus an older Mac build, on its official download page, so most people never need an emulator. The Android app is current too, updated in June 2026.

App name IP Pro (VR Cam, EseeCloud)
Android version 4.9.7.10 (Google Play, June 2026)
Windows client EseeCloud 3.0.8.4 (Windows 7, 8, 10, 11)
Mac client EseeCloud 2.0.8
Category CCTV / NVR remote viewer
Official source Google Play and eseecloud.app
Last verified July 2026

The official way: EseeCloud for Windows

The EseeCloud desktop client does what the phone app does, on a bigger screen: multi channel live view, playback from the recorder, and local recording to your PC. Version 3.0.8.4 is the current Windows build and there is a 2.0.8 build for Macs. Download it from the vendor’s own site, which also hosts the companion tools for these recorders, including the legacy CMS and the NVR search utility.

Setup is quick if your kit is already running: install the client, log in with the same account you use in the phone app, and your devices appear. You can also add a recorder directly by its cloud ID, the same ID printed on the box or shown in the app’s device details.

Get EseeCloud for Windows (official site)

What the IP Pro app covers

IP Pro is the companion app for a huge family of unbranded and lightly branded Wi-Fi NVR kits built on Juan technology. If your recorder’s manual mentions IP Pro, VR Cam, or EseeCloud, they are the same ecosystem and one account works across all of them, phone and PC alike. The Android app on Google Play sits at version 4.9.7.10 with over a million downloads, so this ecosystem is actively maintained, which is exactly what you want from surveillance software.

Install IP Pro on Windows with an emulator

The only common reason to do this is wanting the app’s exact interface or its notification behavior on a PC. If that is you:

  1. Set up BlueStacks first; our BlueStacks for PC guide covers installation and performance settings.
  2. Install IP Pro (VR Cam, EseeCloud) from the Play Store inside the emulator.
  3. Log in with your existing account so devices sync, or add the recorder by cloud ID. Skip QR scanning inside an emulator.
  4. Use the sub stream for multi camera grids if the video stutters; the desktop client handles high channel counts better than the emulated app does.

Common problems and fixes

Login works on the phone but fails on the PC client: you are usually on an ancient 2.x build, so install the current version from the official page and try again. Device shows offline on PC while the app sees it: the client caches the device list, so remove and re-add the recorder by cloud ID. Playback timestamps look wrong on the desktop: check the time zone set on the recorder itself, because the client displays the recorder’s clock, not your PC’s. And if live view is black on an old laptop, turn off hardware decoding in the client settings before blaming the recorder.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use EseeCloud on a PC?

Yes, natively. EseeCloud has an official Windows client, currently 3.0.8.4, that supports Windows 7 through 11, and an older 2.0.8 client for Mac. Log in with your app account and your cameras carry over.

What is the IP Pro app?

It is the remote viewing app for EseeCloud based camera kits and NVRs, listed on Google Play as IP Pro (VR Cam, EseeCloud). It handles live view, playback, and alerts for recorders that print an EseeCloud or IP Pro cloud ID.

Does the EseeCloud client work on Windows 11?

Yes. The current 3.0.8.4 build lists Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 support. If an older 2.x install misbehaves after a Windows update, install the current build from the official download page rather than a mirror.

Verdict

This is the setup we wish every budget camera brand shipped: a maintained mobile app and a real Windows client from the vendor. Use the desktop client as your daily driver and keep the app for alerts. For other brands and their PC options, our CCTV camera app for PC hub has the full comparison, including brands like Night Owl that also ship official desktop software.

YouTube Go for PC: Discontinued, Here Is What to Use Instead

youtubego for pc

YouTube Go was discontinued by Google in August 2022 and no longer works, so there is no working YouTube Go for PC download to chase. The good news: you do not need it. Open youtube.com in any browser, or install YouTube as an app on Windows through Chrome or Edge, then lower the playback quality to save data the way YouTube Go did.

App name YouTube Go
Developer Google LLC
Status Discontinued in August 2022, servers no longer supported
Replacement youtube.com in a browser, or the YouTube app install on Windows
Official source youtube.com
Last verified July 2026

Why Google shut down YouTube Go

YouTube Go launched in 2016 as a lightweight version of YouTube for entry-level Android phones and slow, expensive mobile data. It let you pick download quality, preview data usage per video and share videos offline. In May 2022 Google announced the app was being retired, and it stopped working in August 2022. Google’s stated reason: the main YouTube app had absorbed the improvements that made Go necessary, with better performance on low-end devices and built-in controls for reducing data usage. YouTube Go was never offered for Windows or macOS at any point, so a “YouTube Go for PC download” never existed officially, even when the app was alive.

The official way to use YouTube on a PC

On a desktop or laptop, YouTube’s primary product is simply the website. Everything YouTube Go offered, and far more, is available at youtube.com in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or any modern browser: sign in with your Google account and your subscriptions, history and playlists sync with your phone automatically.

Open YouTube (youtube.com)

Install YouTube as an app on Windows

If you liked YouTube Go because it felt like a dedicated app, Windows can give you that today. YouTube supports installation as a web app (PWA), which gets its own window, its own taskbar icon and its own Start menu entry:

  1. Open youtube.com in Chrome or Edge on Windows 10 or Windows 11.
  2. In Chrome: click the small install icon that appears at the right end of the address bar, then confirm Install.
  3. In Edge: open the three-dot menu, go to Apps, then choose “Install this site as an app”.
  4. Launch YouTube from the Start menu or pin it to the taskbar like any other program.

This is an official, Google-supported route, it updates itself with the website and it needs no emulator, no APK and no third-party installer.

How to save data like YouTube Go did

YouTube Go’s whole pitch was data control, and the main site now covers that too. Three settings do most of the work:

  1. Per video: click the gear icon on the player, choose Quality and drop to 480p or 360p. Data use falls dramatically compared to 1080p.
  2. Account-wide: in YouTube’s settings under Playback and performance, set video quality preferences so YouTube stops defaulting to HD on every video.
  3. Turn off autoplay with the toggle on the player so YouTube does not silently stream videos you never chose.

If you mostly used YouTube Go for music in the background, our YMusic for PC guide covers an audio-focused setup that uses far less data than video streaming.

Why you should skip any YouTube Go APK for PC

Sites still advertise a “YouTube Go APK for PC” in 2026, and every one of them is a dead end. The app has had no updates or security patches since 2022, Google no longer supports its servers, and sign-in and playback fail on abandoned Go builds. Worse, because Google no longer distributes the app, every APK comes from an unofficial mirror, which is exactly the kind of source that gets repackaged with adware or malware. There is nothing to gain: the working, official, free option is the website you already have. If you were looking at YouTube Go as a video downloader, we have also covered TubeMate for PC, and there are more options in our video streaming apps for PC hub.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download YouTube Go for PC?

No. YouTube Go was an Android-only app and Google discontinued it in August 2022. There was never a Windows version, and the Play Store listing is gone. Use youtube.com or the YouTube web app install on Windows instead.

Can I still use YouTube Go?

No. Google shut the app down in August 2022 and no longer supports its servers, so even old installs fail at sign-in and playback. There is no country, version, or workaround where YouTube Go still works, on phones or on PC.

Does the YouTube Go APK still work in an emulator on PC?

No. Old APKs install but the app is unsupported, so playback and sign-in fail. Running an abandoned Google app from a mirror site inside an emulator adds risk for zero benefit.

Is there an official YouTube app for Windows 10 or 11?

Google does not ship a native Windows program, but the official route is installing youtube.com as a web app through Chrome or Edge. It behaves like a desktop app, with its own window and taskbar icon.

What replaced YouTube Go?

The main YouTube app and website replaced it. Google folded Go’s key ideas, better performance on weak hardware and data-saving playback controls, into regular YouTube, which is why the Go app was retired.

Verdict

YouTube Go is gone, and chasing its APK in 2026 gets you a broken app from untrustworthy sources. On a PC you lose nothing: youtube.com does everything Go did, the Chrome or Edge web app install gives you a real desktop app feel, and the built-in quality settings handle the data-saving part. Bookmark the site, install the web app, and skip every “YouTube Go for PC” download page you see.
